Found WTB: Negative carriers for Omega D5 XL

Have acquired an Omega D5 XL with an Ilford Multigrade 500H head. I have the light boxes for the head and a 35 mm negative carrier, but need 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, and 4x5. If you have the 4x5 glass holder and the mask accessory, I would ultimately like those as well.

Please let me know what you have. I can also trade some items for these as well, equal value of course. Nimslo 3d camera, Voigtlahnder Bessa folder, Working FED 3, Durst L1000 with some accessories.

Are these the same carriers as the d5500?

There are lots of them on ebay, same carriers as the D5. You can find part numbers on http://www.khbphotografix.com/omega/Enlargers/D5.htm

Darinwc, from what I see they are not the same. The KHB Photographic web site lists them as different part numbers.

Hello Pieter12, yes I have been to the KHB Photografix site, it is very helpful finding the required parts to get me up and running. I also saw the options on ebay, but thought I would try the trusted members here first. Thanks again.

Hello RauschenOderKorn, yes I live in Germany, but also have access to the US postal system as well.

D2, D3, D4 carriers will work but do not have the octagonal "spiders" on the bottom to center the carriers on the D5. If you have one for a pattern it should be possible to make "spiders" to center the carriers of make an adapter for the older style carriers which used 4 pins at the film plane for centering. (Note spider is a machine shop term for a self centering ring.)

I have them all except the 6x4.5 carrier. In 4x5 I have glassless; glass but missing glass; and complete with glass. The complete glass carrier is either exc. or LN in factory box. They all have the bottom alignment piece. I also have a very nice Beseler 4x5 Negaflat... with Omega D5 adapter. These are in various cosmetic condition. The adjustable mask is really very nice. Shipping to you will be a bit pricey coming from the USA. It would save you some money if you can find someone with all the pieces you need and ship everything in one package.

EDIT #1: I'm going to purchase a 6x4.5 carrier and will include it for whatever it costs me here. That way, everything you need could be shipped to you in one package. Hopefully, we can agree on a fair deal for us both.

EDIT: #2: I also have other size negative carriers and one or two D5 lens boards. One rare board is specifically for the 150mm Apo Componon HM and is new in box.

I forgot to mention, I also have the Omega D5 factory instruction manual.
