Been thinking of trying one out since I never have before, I can get a Tiffen #1 for this for $30 on the auction site but thought I would try here first. I would prefer one that is rectangular so I can move it further from my eye for framing purposes. If anyone has one they aren't using and would sell please shoot me a PM. Thanks!

look to find a wratten 90 equivalent in a rosco or lee thratre gel swatch book. Then a 24x30" piece costs about $7.00 at a theatrical house or from b&h

OK thanks Mike! I will check it out, it is just that BHPhoto shipping is high to AK so I usually wait for a bigger purchase to make paying $40+ for shipping worth it for UPS 2nd Day.

I have a few of these things, but I'm not a fan. They just don't work for me at all.

I have read that one's eyes adjust quickly so you must use it briefly to see the scene and then take it away or it is not effective. I have read a few posts on photo.net, largeformatphotography.info, and here on APUG that some people like them and some like yourself said they were not useful. Basically why I wanted to try a cheap one, just I was one of those people that did not find it useful.

I've got a Harrison viewing glass (pan) that I assume is for B&W.
It has an aluminum frame 1 11/16 dia. the glass is 1 1/2" & it has a handle that's 11/16 dia X 1/4" thick.
$15.00 & I'll put it a cushioned envelope & send it to you.

Looks like John is going to hook me up, thanks all!
