Want to Buy WTB: Mixing Board W/ Filtration

I'm looking for a thermostatic mixing board with filtration. I'd consider a DIY thing or a production model. Conversely, if you have instructions for how to make one I'd love to hear it.

I am hooking up a Jobo ATL3.

We remodeled our bath, a couple years ago. First I had to explain, to our experienced plumbers, and the wholesale/retail showroom people, the difference between a thermostatic mixing valve and a anti-scald pressure balancing valve.
All this said, I chose a Delta thermostatic mixing valve. Almost all of Deltas valves use 3 maybe 4 different internals, the big money is in offering a thousand different exterior facades, spouts etc.
My cartridge valve really holds temperature steady. It runs cold until it hits the set point then holds steady as long as there is hot water. If the cold water is interrupted, the water flow stops to prevent scalding.

To continue, make sure to size the valve correctly. If you want true temperature control you need a chiller. Probably not a problem for you, not a problem here in my non industrial darkroom. I have two valves installed in my darkroom, one is labeled Kodak, the other Pako. I'm pretty sure they are both Lawler valves.

Filtration, go to waterfiltersonline.com all you need are some decent canisters and sediment (string ) filters. The filters are (have been ) super cheap. Omni filter sold big whole house filters, there's a bunch of sizes.

Check out Lawler, there's nothing magic about the panels. The intelligent faucet thing is damn nice but way more than I want to spend. Powers invented these valves 150 years back, Lawler and Leonard sell valves. Flow meters are nice to have but a bucket and a watch work too.

If you want to have a instant delivery of spot on temp water you are going to need a recirculating circuit of some sort and a tank.

I was getting set up to use a household thermostatic anti-scald mixing valve for a home-made mixing panel. But then found a Powers Fotopanel on e-bay for $60. It was another $30 for new washers and seals to get it working. Not bad considering they are about $1000 new.

There's a lot of this stuff from tear outs. My first valve had been used for 30 years. So covered with lime, anyway same story, vinegar, a couple washers, I've been using for 20 years. I have a couple extras that I bought off Ebay, because so cheap.
