Want to Buy WTB - Mamiya TLR 80mm 2.8 lens / need donor

Hello,

Got today my new toy - Mamiya C3 with nice 80mm 2.8 older "chrome" lens..
After initial bellows "flash light" test I found that shutter has a light leak. There is small gap in between blades.
On of the blades has small damage in the corner that makes it "curvy"..

Looking for entire lens, or possibly just base part with shutter with no glass, or just shooter assembly itself, or good blades.

Shutter is Seikosha-S.

Usually in shutter blades there is one blade with the end tab slightly bent up.

If is not closing all the way, it jsut needs to be CLAed.

I agree -- it probably just needs a cleaning. Maybe you can clean the aperture blades by soaking a piece of paper in naphtha and running it between them. This is a nice lens and worth the effort/cost of servicing.

Unfortunately cleanup did not help. On of the blades has physical damage..
Ended up buying another lens on big site.. Hope that one will be good.
