I'm not looking for an entire outfit: I don't shoot with wide lenses. I shoot mostly with the 150, and I've already found one of those.

I am simply looking for a Mamiya 7 body, or possibly a body with 80mm lens if the price is reasonable.

Good luck with your search. I find the bodies to be the most overpriced part of the kit. The lenses are underpriced for their true performance, but the bodies feel kinda cheap and I just don't quite get the price. What type of shooting are you planning? The 150mm is kinda a trip to use without a viewfinder.

You're right about the bodies seeming unreasonably priced. I hope to find someone more... reasonable

I had a Mamiya 7 a few years ago, and now regret having sold it.

When traveling, I like to shoot landscapes and architectural details. Click here to see one I made in England a few years ago. It was hand-held. Next time, I'll find a tripod for traveling that fits into a backpack... I hope.

The rangefinder frame adjusts to the 150: it's not perfect like looking through a view camera or an SLR - where what we see is what we get - but it's workable.

By the way, I had a peek at some of your photos shown here: stunning.

Thanks!

I use the 150mm infrequently, but always found the rangefinder to be somewhat wonky, so I liked the viewfinder up top. Lovely photograph; it always astonishes me how well this camera can shoot handheld.

Hello Ken,

If you are still looking, would you be interested in a Mamiya 7 with a 65mm lens? Both are in excellent condition.

(Please email or PM me if you are interested.)

Regarding your question about Acros: I see that B&H has Acros roll film in stock, and that is usually where I get them from.

Regards,
Sanjay
