I have been having a ton of trouble with my FED 2 recently, and I'm looking for something reliable. I'm up to pretty much anything as long as it isn't too much and more reliable than the FED. Thanks!

I have a good lllf I would be willing to part with. I paid $289.00 for it and had the finder cleaned and aligned. I would like to get my $289.00 out of it. Also open to trade for Hasselblad A12 back in good working order. PM me if you're interested.

I have a IIIc available for sale. $200 + shipping at cost (probably ~$14 for USPS Priority). PM if interested.

I have a Kiev with 50 and 35. Still Russian mfg, but generally more reliable than the FED. You have to get used to the "Contax hold".

Edit: I should add this is Contax mount, not LTM.

Do you want look and feel of a III series Leica or just a LTM mount?

I have a IIIf I'll sell cheap. It needs a $200 CLA but then itll be good for decades.

I also have a Voigtlander Bessa R. More like an M body but LTM, and has a meter and beautiful rangefinder.

I have an M3 too. But, that would cost quote a bit more than either of the other two.

You could look around for a Zorki. I have a I, which looks just like a II series Leica but feels nothing like it. Its reliable but lacks any of the smoothness and refinement of a Leica. I wont sell it, but after shooting a Leica you'll never want to touch one of the cheap clones again.

A FED 2 should be a reliable camera, as long as it hasn't been worked on at the kitchen table by one of the WD40 & butterknife brigade.

Thanks but I wound up going for a Canon 7!
