I have an old Pentax Spotmatic that I would like to find a couple of lenses for. Mainly looking for a wide angle 28mm, and telephoto zoom.
Thx 2bits

Hello,
I have some you may want..
I have 2 Super Takumars 28mm 3.5 i good condition I possibly would sell and few others third party brands (including 28mm, 50mm, 135mm, 200m and few zooms).
Sorry, I'm not home now. Can't provide you with details.

Are you looking for Takumars only or third party brands are OK too?

Thank You

Those 28mm f/3.5 lenses are incredibly good lenses. Very under-appreciated.
If you can get a 35mm f/3.5 those are amazing too.

I have a Spotmatic SP in nice condition along with 50mm f1.4 Yashinon, 28mm f2.5 Tamron Adaptall 2 with M42 screw mount, and 80-210 Tamron Adaptall 2 with M42 screw mount that I may be willing to let go for a reasonably cheap fee if you are in the UK.

I have a very nice M42 Push/pull zoom, 80-200, multicoated. Third party (non-pentax) but very good optically, and works great. Would that do it for you?

Personally I'd get the superb f2.5 28mm Tamron adaptall II and then a Tamron zoom, in fact that's what I've done twice in recent years, my nephew has one set of lenses now with PK adaptors, and I havesimilar with M42 (F/ES) and PK adapters. I think they are so good I've just acquired a 3rd zoom for a niece free here on APUG last night

Thanks Ian, I've always been partial to the Takumar lenses, but the ones you mention are nice also.

I've got a Vivitar 28 f/2.5 M42 lens that I haven 't used much. I am using an Argus 55 f/1.7 lens on an EOS camera and get good results. It takes an adapter and I think you can get adapters for Nikon, too.
