You have excellent taste, good luck! ps. look out for delaminating rangefinder prisms. The tell tale sign is it looks like there are drip marks on the RF patch when you look through the VF. Mind did that, then completely separated and it was an expensive fix. (but once fixed u are good for another 50+ years..)

Someone (it may have been Sherry Krauter) told me when I was shopping for an M5 to look for a three-lug model as it would be newer and have some improvements over the two-lug version.

Yes, get the later 3 lug version. I like the black finish much more than chrome- but the pictures come out the same…
