Why not an M4? 35, 50, 90, & 135 frame lines. I have M3, M4 &M5 (many don’t appreciate M5 because of larger body). Interesting that the M2 was the budget model (as if anything Leitz made was budget) until release of M4. Any of these cameras are great users. In a strange way, the M cameras were the reason for the rise of the SLR, since its superiority wiped out rf competition.
The Barnacks have a place because they are easily pocketable.

cost and aesthetics, i guess. and the m2 has all that I need.
