I am looking a LAPLA, Durst's version of a lens holder, that allows mounting my chrome Componon 150/5.6 enlarger lens. For some strange reason, Componon made the 150, 180 and 210mm lenses with a rear thread diameter of 39mm, but it doesn't have the same pitch as the 39mm Leica Thread mount, so you cannot use a 39 LTM retaining flange. and the lens mounting board will only accept the nonLeica 39mm thread. Since my Durst has a Tripla (Triple hole turret), the lens must be mounted on a 1 in. or ¾ inch deep cone that allows the rear element to clear the bellows as you turn the turret with the three mounted lenses.

In the 1st picture, you can see my 180 Componon with the Black LAPLA which is hiding the rear element; on the right, is my 150 Componon without the LAPLA next to the 180. What I need is another LAPLA like the one on the 180. The third picture shows the object in question.

If anybody has a just a nonLeica 39mm retaining ring...... that will do also.

Thank you.

I had a lens holder machined for me for my Rodenstock 180mm lens. Not a really cheap option however it is working and I am not waiting for a part which may never turn up.

It's probably going to be much easier to have SK Grimes make one up for you than to try and find one. That's what I did with my 240 Rodagon. He's now making me an adapter to let me use all my Lapla mounted lenses on a De Vere 5108. L
