I have a 14' Commercial Ektar that is in good shape in a no 5 Ilex #5 Universal Synchro shutter. Had Fluto's do a CLA on the shutter about 2 years ago.
also has the mounting flange.

Hi Mike! Could you post some pictures of this lens? I want to see the optics as well the overall item condition. Thank you!

OK, oMoses, get it after dinner, uploading on the internet has always been a challenge for me.

I want to add that the shutter is a Press type, there is no chucking to pretension the shutter, it works well with the longer stroke cable releases. It works with the cheap plastic coated cable release I bought at Freestyle. I figure $450 + shipping

Thank you Mike! I am going to pass by this opportunity once I want a better shutter. Hopefully you would sell it to the other fellow photographer on that forum. Best, Oleg.

Out of curiosity, what kind of shutter do you want to get it in? The Ilex #5 is the factory standard shutter for that lens. If you re-mount it in a more modern shutter, you'll lose at least 1/2 if not a whole stop worth of light - it'd be a 14" f9 instead of a 6.3.

bvy, it should read there is no cocking lever on the lens, just the release lever that cocks and release's the shutter or use the cable release.

NG_UN, nice Ektar, but oMoses doesn't want that No. 5 Ilex shutter. I've never seen them mounted in a different shutter. Mike's $450 was a low price especially considering it had been to Flutot's. Your ebay price is reasonable for this wonderful lens.
