Hi!

I am looking for a 7" Aero Ektar. Glasses have to be reasonably clean, without fungus or haze.

Quotes, including shipping to Austria please.

Thanks,
Zoltan

Zoltan, I have one that I will sell. Glass is really good. Downside is it's missing the original front lens flange so the threads show. This is common and many photogs use these lenses this way since the original flanges are so huge. You can buy modern replacements now. There is a ding on the rear flange but cells are fine. Cell serial numbers match. No fungus, not any significant dust. This is a great user. I have two, only need one. Price is $550. plus $40. shipping to Austria.

No offense intended but... I honestly don't understand the interest in these lenses... at any price.

It's a great lens, (and was popular long before burnett) what else is there to understand?

Photography is a journey. You have to try out many things until you arrive at your destination. Eventually you never do, who knows.
Buying analog stuff nowadays is pretty riskless. You loose far less money than with digital equipment. So why not experiment?
When the right instruments finds the right musician, that's where the magic happens.

So what's your favourite lens for MF Portraits and why?
(will close this thread because I found a lens already so PM me or start a new thread)

Zoltan, et al... I don't usually shoot portraits but for 6x7cm I would probably use a 203 Ektar for head-and-shoulder portraits. I didn't intend to be negative about the 178 Aero Ektar. I suppose if I could find one at a reasonable price I might try one.
