Yes, the WLF for all the 500 series 'blads is the same. I had one in my time as a Hasselblad owner, and freely used it between my 500CM and my EL. Now all sold, unfortunately.
Have you done an advanced search for one on Ebay? Nowadays I rarely spend time on that site as one of my self-imposed rules to curb by GAS is to avoid Ebay, but I recall a Melbourne seller had one on offer a few weeks ago.
You could also phone Allan Lane at the Hardware Lane Camera Shop in the city, as they occasionally have Hasselblad bits and pieces available in-shop orstored at home. Alan or his staff may be able to help.
If all else fails you could consider a Hasselblad chimney finder. I had one and found it very useful for my poor eyesight, altho it does look rather odd on the camera, like its namesake, a sort of factory chimney sticking up from the body.

Hi ozmoose. Thanks for your reply. Thankfully I have a spare 'blad with a much newer WLF, and I've swapped it over. Still looking for a replacement one though, so I'll follow your leads. I appreciate your help.
Good one. The city camera shop on Hardware Lane is called Camera Lane, by the way. The owner is Allan Lane who has been a well respected fixture on the local retail scene for many years. His prices are generally at the middle of the medium level and whenever I visit the shop, I have to sit on my hands to control my urge to impulse-buy interesting bits and pieces.
Michael's still sell a more limited assortment of MF film camera gear and occasionally, bits. Camera Exchange has now relocated to some distant place close to the eastern hills (Dandenongs), but personally I found their service had changed for some time before their 'disappearance' and they had lost their edge on the local market I haven't been out to see them out in the boondocks since they moved. Otherewise, there are very few reliable camera shops selling used gear. The Melbourne Camera Club has (I believe) half yearly camera and photo gear sales held in Box Hill are popular outlets for both buyers and sellers, but having written this, I confess I've not been to one of their events for a long time.
You would know all these shops, of course, as almost all Melbourne photographers do. visitors to Our Faire City may find all this of some use.

Hi ozmoose, I tried Camera Lane, Camera Exchange and Vanbar. No WLFs to be found. I'm too impatient to wait for the half yearly Box Hill sales (but I'm pretty sure there would be some on offer there). So I ordered an "ugly" one from KEH.

'Ugly' in my experience with KEH, means give it a wash/wipe/polish (whichever applies), and it will look like new.

I initially missed your last post and the KEH order update. I think I have one I could offer so if it doesn't work out let me know. I just have to find which special box I put it in when I got the prism finder for my 500C/M. So around $135-140 AUD at current favourable exchange rate which is a good saving relative to Aussie eBay. I have bought BGN from KEH in the past and never been disappointed.
