Hi all,

I've been quietly hunting around for a leather handle for my Wista metal field camera, but without much luck. I've mentioned it to my sister, who does leather working as a hobby, but not much has ever come from that (and she's just bought a new house, so I think painting her bathroom is of higher priority than helping me out!).

I've been happy enough without one for the past few years, but after a day hike yesterday with a fellow Wista user who still has his original handle, I've decided to step up my search.

So if anyone has a handle they no longer need, I would love to hear from you. I'm in Vic, Australia, but I'm sure that's not an issue as postage on one of these would be minimal anyway. Thanks everyone, finding one of these would make me a VERY happy chappy!

Cheers,
Steve

Check out a luggage repair. If you can't find the brand name. A lot of older suitcases used very similar handles.
I know I've seen some online while I was looking for leather working supplies. There's also attrevida(?) on ebay that has original Deardorff handles.

Thanks for the tips John, I've been keeping my eye out for old hand-bag straps, hadn't thought of suitcases though, most 'older' ones I've come across around here all have the vinyl covered pressed tin handles. I'll try searching that fellow on ebay though, thanks.
