I have a Graflok Graphic View first version. It has a spring back but I need a Graflok back. I’m assuming it will fit. if I can’t find a back I would purchase a very very cheap parts camera that has a good one.
Thx,
Steve

Do keep an eye on the cost of a Graphic View II complete camera -- I see them on eBay for around $200 regularly.

Or here's a first gen with the Graflok. Shipping's kind of high, but it's a heavy item.

Thanks Donald, Seems like the II you linked maybe the way to go, and use my existing version 1 for parts. I like the red bellows on mine, maybe i could switch it over. I imagine I maybe able to sell the lens thats on it to recoup some of the expense, but I have no idea how easy that would be accomplished. However I don't know what the seller is referring about here
. Ground glass cover pops open easily and ground glass is fine but the two clips on the back door to hold film info are missing.
I don’t want to end up still not having all the parts I need.

Steve, I'm with Mr. Qualls on this one. Remember that backs generally don't interchange between makes of cameras. So, for example, a Graflok back from my 4x5 Cambo won't fit either GV.

If I were you, I'd just sell the GV I and buty a GV II with Graflok. Or sell the GV I and buy a Cambo or Sinar or ... with Graflok.

I think I'll get the GV II listed above by Donald. Since I already have a GV lens board with a serviced lens of the same focal length as what is being offered, maybe I can sell the extra lens and get the upgraded version for not too much out of pocket.. I looked at the two other cameras you mentioned, and they seem to be way nicer, but I'm just starting out. So far the only cost I have aquired is the CLA of it's Ektar Lens.

I have a spare Graflok back, if you're still looking.

Thank you, however I was told that my version I of Graflex Graphic View won't accept the Graflok back but I need the version II. The standard looks to have the same type of shape so I need to find out id that's actually true. How much would you want for it?

The back is from a Speed. It's 7 7/16 inches wide by about 8 1/4 high. Two screws at the top, three at the bottom. Focus panel is about 1 inch from the bottom and top. Looking at a picture of the View, it won't fit.

Ok thanks anyway.

A Graflok from a Speed won't work with the Graphic View. Again, I'm pretty sure the Graflok back from a GVII will work on a first-gen GV -- they have the same sort of clip mount. I wouldn't worry about missing film reminder frames on the ground glass hood; you might well have different films in film holders, and it should be easy enough to keep track of whether a LomoGraflok is loaded with color or monochrome (and that's the only choice in Instax Wide).

The idea of transferring the red bellows is one of the reasons I haven't sold off my GV and spare parts (I assembled my camera from a box of loose parts, and have spares for several parts) since getting the GVII -- I'm not certain that will work, and haven't had time to check since getting the GVII.

I thought the about interchanging. Thanks for the clarity on the clips, I did’t know what the seller meant.

I have been reading up a bit on the different versions. Looks like the V II has a longer rail so the VI bellows would be too short. There does appear to be aftermarket replacement bellow available in red though.

Nothing says you have to use all of the rail length. From what I recall, the bellows length only differs by a fraction of an inch between the two models. The extended rail on the GVII I recall being done to accommodate a particular portrait lens at portrait distances, already within the bellows draw of the older model, but with the standards running out of gear rack.

Cool Thanks Donald.
