Hi.
I'm needing the entire hood for a 2.8c in functioning condition. Cosmetic condition is not so important.
I'm located in Canada.
Thanks, Derek.

Thanks for the tip, but I have been monitoring ebay for what I'm after; an ugly but functionally complete viewfinder for a 2.8c. It also can't be expensive because the camera I want it for won't ever be worth much.

In fact it looks as if it was used to fight off attacks by marauding bears and, given it's history that's a real possibility! However it has a nice, clean Planar in it and I'd like to be able to use it with eye- level focusing.

Cheers, Derek

Ah, from the link I posted, there is one for a 2.8C (or so the seller claims, I cannot tell, since I don't own one).
It's pretty damn ugly and beat up, perhaps way to beat up?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolleiflex...181430?hash=item4d43df2d76:g:MZ0AAOSw0OJXL3aF

Cheap though (from India) :D
- With some refurbishment it may be usable, that one lacks the magnifier-glass though, which I feel is pretty essential to be able to shoot properly with these cameras..

I would consider getting a better ground-glass for it though, as the one in the link here, looks pretty funky (not sure if the proper screws follow the item, if they are anything similar to my Rolleiflex Automat, they are short, small with fine threads.

Anyway, just wanted to help out, I hope you get it all sorted in time ^^

Thanks,I appreciate the help.
That one from Mumbai has been for sale for quite a while. Unfortunately it seems to be missing some of the same parts that mine is, namely the mirror assembly and the struts that hold it in the 45 degree position.
Winter is coming. I should be able to find the time to fabricate (bash together) a solution. If not, I've still got hyper-focal distance and the sports finder.

Try a Hasselblad NC-2 prism. They can be found for cheap. Remove the mounting plate from the bottom and it fits in the basic focus screen frame. It needs to be raised above the screen- I found about 4mm wood strips got me a sharp view of the screen. Then tape to hold it all together. Here's the basic idea on a Yashica-Mat; I've done it to Rolleiflexes and Autocords, also. This also gives you a corrected image, not reversed.

That's a great idea, Dan! Thanks for posting it.
