I have fitted a 5x7 B&J monorail standard set on a 4X5 B&J wood field base and it looked like it was made for it. I wonder if 5X7 field standards were similar enough to use 4X5 bed parts. I am confused just writing that. But I did end up with a useable 5X7 field camera.
