Hi,
If you have tons of expired 35mm films that you want to giveaway for throwaway price(low price), please let me know. I can use that for my personal project in coming summer. My friend placed ad in here and bought expired films which he used for his personal use.

Thanks

I don't have quite a ton, but...I have 24 expired rolls, all but 1 of which is Kodak Gold. The odd-ball is Agfa HDC 200.
If you're interested, I'll fill in the details.

Not all of us! I would never use expired film.

Your loss is our gain.

Bring on the stacks of discontinued dubiously stored film! The Max 400 from 1994 stored in a glove box! The Tmax100 in the old packaging! Give me your bulk rolls of Tri-X from the 70's, your Plus-X from the 00's, rolls of 100 speed 120 from Latvia, your APS, Minox, 110, 127 and unknown branded cassettes from a PX in Kuwait!

I've shot 'em all and have never yet been disappointed. Must keep feeding my cameras.

The cost of film is relatively cheap compared to developing and printing. I would never use expired film.

I develop myself so the cost is near a non issue. Throw in 250 foot short ends of cine film and I'm shooting rolls for less than a dime if I score a good deal.

I appreciate Cholentpot's enthusiasm.
I would caution though - I think he/she and I differ on issues of colour fidelity, crossover, repeatable sensitometric response and a whole bunch of dry, technical stuff.
Which is absolutely fine - my photographic anally retentive nature is not for everyone.
But if you share some of that, be wary of expired film.

Yep. Film to many is a tool. To me it's a hobby to play with and have fun. I don't rely on it for excellent repeatable results. Oh, I know how and what to do when I want it but it's not worth the effort for me. If I want clean dependable repeatable results with no hassle I can always shoot some other electronic format. The same way I can always use my word processor when I don't feel like using my pens.

That being said, it is annoying when I expect to get results off a roll of fresh film sent to a lab and it gets messed up.
