Looking for a Durst Sivopar 66 upper and lower mask set for 6x6 negs for the M605. Located in the US, but these are small, so willing to pay international postage if need be. Thanks in advance

For some reason the supply of Durst "extras" is drying up in the US. I've had an M601 since the mid-70's (very much like your M605). What I do when I can not find a mask set in the size I need is to cut a pair out of a more common carrier. I used to use Bogen carriers but found the metal to be a bit thin but a 6x6 carrier from an Omega B600 or older B22 would work until you find your mask set. The one I waited the longest to find was a 645 set, THAT took me years, in the meantime I used the AN glass set up and masking blades.

Two SIXMA masks make up a SIVOPAR set or you can use just one in the lower part of the carrier and AN glass in the top.

Hi Mike,

I agree, the accessories are pretty hard to come by. Thankfully I have most of them already, including the extension arm to print 16x20, spare 35mm and MF condensors, etc. I actually thought I had the Sivopar 66 from when I got it a few years ago as I got everything else I could have wanted for MF, but I've been all 35mm the past couple years. When I finally went to set it up yesterday for 6x6, that's when I realized it I didn't. On top of that I found that my enlarger timer had decided to stop working since I last used it in the spring... DOH!

Perhaps you can cut your own Sivopar using polycarbonate plastic? (i.e. CD jewel cases) ?

I need the sivopar 66 as well, and will make myself my own eventually.

Last night while doing some searching I came across someone in PA that may have one. They are going to double check and get back to me. My other thought is to pick up one of the Sivopars and cut it out for 6x6.
