My friend gave me some enlarger parts, which has m600 head and column but no baseboard. Any one have one they are not using? Before I go to Home Depot and cobble something together.
I don't know if you can get something as nice for as little money at Home Depot or Lowes. I got one for an LPL enlarger, but ended up finding an original one for a good price.
One thing to note, a lot of baseboards are rectangular and run the long edge front-to-back, whereas most enlarger have the negative's long edge run horizontally. Being a 6x6 enlarger, a square baseboard makes more sense than rectangular.
Yeah it seems DIY is the way to go. Can anyone share a picture of how the mounting holes look? Thanks for the amazon link. If my home depot excursion does not prove fruitful I will try something like that.
The piece that clamps to the baseboard is held in place with a single bolt that goes through from the bottom of the baseboard into the clamping piece. If you are missing the bolt, it is most likely a metric thread. Take that piece to the hardware store and see if they can match the threads. Be sure to use a large washer on the bottom to spread the pressure.
