Quantum is just a sealed gel cell or absorbed glass mat lead acid battery, as much as I can recall.

Peel the cover off the case, and see what the battery says on it.

Read up on charge rates for those technologies, and then find an electronics supply store or hit the web once you know what you want.

The likely item will be something suited to charging model boat or model car batteries.

I'm by no means a battery expert but if you have the old dead charger...

some chargers will have the charging rates in the fine print on the charger.
The one for I have for the Quantum Turbo (QTB or T-16) reads

Input 117VAC 60Hz 12w
Output: 12VAC 500mA

In my experience you usually need a charger that will put out 500mA then "top off" the battery at a much lower mA rating for the "trickle" stage.

Thanks Bruce,

Yesterday I got, 2 Quantum-1 units, 2 - 283's, some adapters and cords, and 2 slaves.
For $40.00, I spent all that money, and I didn't get the chargers.

My best friend was also a Muir !
