Want to Buy WTB: Canon AE-1 Parts

I'm in need of a couple things for an AE-1.

Winder cap
Battery door (yes, I know they are on eBay, wanted to check here first)
Plastic little add-on grip

The battery doors on ebay, at least the one I got, was awful. I could have carved a better one out of wood. The plastic casting wouldn't have been acceptable to a Holga owner. Best to hold out for OEM stuff or just use a piece of plastic held in place by the hand grip. Opening the body to swap in a piece of garbage isnt worth it.

Thanks for the heads-up, I was hoping that wasn't the case but it figures. It has a piece of gaff tape over it now so the battery isn't going anywhere but I'd like to get it back to 100%.

I could also use a BS-52 hood, I have a BS-55 hood to trade if anyone would be interested.

The AE-1 has not got such grip. Only the AE-1 Program and the A-1 have such (interchangeable).

I picked up an AE-1 for parts this morning, so you can have the winder cap and the battery door or the complete boy (non functional).

Ahhh, you learn something every day. Thanks for the info. I thought all of the winders/grips were interchangeable on AE1/AE1P/A1 too but apparently not.
