Rather than wait until my F100's door tabs break I'd like to play around with one with both tabs broken off to investigate repair solutions. And of course I would share my findings with the forum.
Not looking to pay much (free + shipping would be even better!) but just wanted to see what's out there.
As an F100 owner myself, a recent purchase, I would be interested.
Disappointed to say the least when I discovered the plastic door, and the plastic prongs on the rewind crank.
I don't have an F100, so just curious: 1.) is there is a demand, and 2.) are these pieces something that could be 3D printed in batches and sold if Nikon doesn't supply them?

Yes there is a demand for sure, but it is NOT a removable part and is molded into the back in such a way as to be very difficult to repair. I thought of making very thin metal tabs that would epoxy over the broke off tab, but then you would probably chew up the mating plastic catch on the body.
It's not a simple fix, or a fix would already be flooding he market IMHO...
