Hi Guys! My Birthday is in April and I will be getting a wonderful gift from my husband this year ... as soon as I can find it. I would like to find a VERY gently used (like new condition) CV Bessa R4A body with all the goodies. I will also be looking for CV lenses in the 21mm, 35mm or 28mm and 50mm range (maybe not all at once, but would like a 21 at least to start with).

Let me know what you have available - I am in Texas USA - and like I said, it's for my Birthday in April, so I have a bit of time to look. I will take this down or lock it when I have found one. Thanks!

Katie, they are new enought that if you find one used it will probably be in the "like new" condition you are looking to acquire. I frequently use a 21mm on my Olympus OM bodies. One of my favorites. You will love the focal length. Bill Barber

Thanks bill! The widest I currently own is a 24 and i am making a point of shooting with just it for awhile to get used to the wides. I used to have the 16-35L for my canon and loved it! I'm excited!! I also think I might want the 28 ultron too. Looks like a lively lens!

Katie - My birthday is in April too : D

I had and sold the R4A, not that I didn't like it, just too many cameras. It really excels for shooting 21, 25, 28mm and is good with 35mm too. The 50mm framelines are pretty small - I didn't care for using 50mm on it works. If you find you like the 24mm you are using, a 25mm CV lens is also nice. Both the 21 and 25mm from Voigtlander are small and light, yet well built. I prefer the CV 21/4 to the venerable Zeiss 21/2.8!

Sorry for not being able to provide any equipment, but if I see anything, I'll send it your way.

Sometimes they pop up on the Classifieds at Range Finder Forum (RFF) but they are pretty scarce and those that have them tend to hang onto them - myself included.
I have the CV 15, 21, 28, 35 and 50 focal lengths. I also had the 25 but although it was a great lens it sat too closely between the 21 and 28 so I sold it. As others have said, the 50 frame lines are small but useable. If you were doing a lot of 50mm work with this camera I'd probably suggest getting an accessory viewfinder for it. That's what I have to do with the 15.
