Want to Buy WTB an 8x10 contact frame

Trader history for John Earley (1)

I have this...

The Paterson is available (the Bogen was sold over a year ago) The foam needs replacement (40 years old). $15 plus shipping.

John these are so easy to make or ask a talented friend in DIY to help out.
Old picture frames can also do the job.

A proof printer like the ones shown, without the "stuff" work great. I have one that I use for everything from 35mm to 8x10. Old school print frames work too but I use these for a rare print out paper print.

I had one of the Paterson units. Pain in the butt. Worked fine once I removed the junk from the glass.

Is this what you have in mind? It's ancient, but it's in decent shape.

I offer my trusty Kodak 8x10 Contact Print Frame. It has had light duty as shown by the photographs. It is flat, rigid, and the springs are still very springy. Frosted glass.
The common eBay price is over $100. I'll offer it for $100 and $10 for UPSP Priority shipping.

If anyone wants it send "private message. I'll respond with my PayPal account. Immediate shipping.

I'll consider non-US id you pay the shipping.

My PrintFile proofer is like the Bogen one pictured, and with some attention could be used.
I would want to add some sort of clamp to supplement gravity.

I found this gem in my now dear closed camera store (in the basement) it's superb for my needs. I have old Kodak print frames, don't use much. Same kind of thing as what Matt uses. The foam is still good miraculously.

I checked Ebay there's several contact "proofer" proof printers listed. Anywhere from 15 bucks + shipping to lots more. The old Kodak print frames are absolutely beautiful, will last 500 years.
