I had the same problem, but fixed it very cheaply. I went to a muffler shop, and they made an adapter from their pipe. Then I went to a machine shop, and they drilled a hole and welded a nut onto it so that I could put in a locking bolt. Total cost -- $10.
 
Bumbersdad, thanks for the suggestion, a $10 solution sounds good!
 
As suggested, I tried a machine shop - success! So not looking anymore, thanks.
