Want to Buy WTB adapter - 39mm enlarger lens mount to OM camera mount

I'm taking a flyer here, because I've never seen one.
I want to be able to mount my enlarger lenses on to my Olympus OM bellows unit - with an eye to using the slide copying accessory for digitizing 35mm slides.
I'm hoping to use this with my wife's M 4/3 Olympus OMD - I already have the OM to M 4/3 adapter.
I have shipping addresses both here in Canada and just across the line in Washington State, USA.
Price is important. I would prefer to pay by full service PayPal

Have you already tried making copies with one of your camera lenses? The reason I ask is that I tried copying slides with my Fuji XT2 attached to my Olympus Bellows, Olympus 50mm macro lens, and Olympus Slide Copier. I gave up because I was unable to consistently focus on the slide through the Fuji viewfinder. I now use a film scanner when I need a digital image from a negative or slide. You may be more successful than I was using the viewfinder on your digital camera. The other issue is that your 4/3 camera has a 2x crop factor and a 50mm enlarging lens will be the equivalent of 100mm. Can you frame the full slide in your viewfinder? The minimum extension of the bellows and 100mm effective focal length of the lens may not permit that.

I'd prefer not to get into the challenges with the small format sensor - I've already done some experiments and encountered the field of view challenges with a 50mm macro lens.
I've an extra bellows and slide copier unit as well.
And I wouldn't mind being able to have some close-up fun with the enlarger lenses on an OM film body.

If you get stuck, you might be able to get an L39 bellows and swap the front with your OM bellows.

Not sure if this will help, it's a 4/3 to LTM . You would need to get an apparently unknown OM male to micro 4/3 female adapter. Somewhere in the good old days there's got to be what you are looking for.

I've got Nikon PB-4 bellows with the 105mm bellows lens and the slide copier attachment. I never dreamed I would ever use the slide copier. Never say never.

Matt, you can also use M42 to Olympus OM adapter and the just add M39-M42 ring, they cost ~$1 with shipping on Ebay. And for sensor side, good luck!

OK, I think I may have just gone through this a few weeks ago. I'm using an OM Auto Bellows as part of setting up a slide/negative copying kit for my old 4x5 and 120 film (and new 120 film work...).

I looked all over and could not find a suitable adapter fo my purposes (I needed a 39mm LTM to fit my Schneider Makro Symmar lens, which is an industrial scan line lens).

However, I had a few old OM extension rings lying around, and I bought a 39mm LTM to Fuji X mount adapter (Fotasy, through Amazon).

My plan was to take apart that adpater (you can see that there are two parts to it, and the inner ring with the 39mm LTM collar is seperate from the rest of the housing) and then fit it to the male lens mount from one of the old OM extension tubes. However, when I got it, I realized that the moount almost exactl fit the lens mount collar I had removed from the extension tube and all I needed to do is take a micro file and make the mount on the adapter very slightly smaller in diameter and it fit snugly onto the ring. It took about 5-10 minutes of careful filing to ensure I didn't go too far. The fit is so snug, I haven't even glued it, but will do so once I have finalized all the details of the film copy stand I'm working on.

So, now, I have the 39LTM to OM adapter I needed and it cost about $9 plus whatever the old extension tubes were (they were effectively free in a kit with another Auto Bellows at auction). I don't know if the enlarging lens is LTM, but if it is, this solution shold work really, really well for you. If not, the trick is to figure out what the thread is and then find a suitable adapter if they are made to do the same thing.

I can send you a photo or two of you want to see how this all works...

not trting to pirat the thread, but, has anyone ever seen a converter to mount 39mm enlarging lenses to Nikon F-mount? I only found the reverse!

If you can't find it, it is probably because the flange depth is too small to go that way. Basically, they wouldn't focus to infinity, so people don't ask for an adapter like that.

I have occasionally seen adapters with the T depth done in that way and the sellers are pretty clear that you CAN'T FOCUS TO INFINITY with them..., because otherwise they'd get all kinds of complaints.

Nikon even sold such a thing - sold to use EL-Nikkors on F mounts. As well the same adapters were part of the Multiphot system as the two longer focal lengths were Leica screw mount.

Thanks Goran - I hadn't thought of that possibility!
The only problem is searching for that adapter, because all the searches seem to be enthralled with M42 to M 4/3 adapters.

Well, you need to find "OLD" Olympus adapter, local Camera swap is on Sunday! You never know?

Ralph, there are plenty of those adapters on Ebay (like:https://www.ebay.com/itm/152438938986?hash=item237e119d6a:g:520AAOSw32lYpU1p).
My question is what do you plan to do with it? What focal lengths are you planing to use and are you going to use it for up to infinity or macro?
You will be served much better with M42-Nikon adapter, then M42-M39 ring, in that case you can insert proper helicoid (or + extension rings) for focusing between lens and body.

Ralph, with just Nikon to M42, M42 to M39 and EL Nikkor 50mm you will be able to focus to around 1m distance max.
With 80mm enlarging lens and Nikon to M42, M42 to M39 adapter + focusing helicoid, you will be able to focus to infinity without any issues.

Option B possibly... you need a M39 (assuming the enlarger is M39 thread) to T/T2 adapter and then a T/T2 to OM adapter.

Note that T/T2 is 42mm/0.75mm thread pitch and M42 is 42mm/1.0mm thread pitch, so they are not the same.

Take a plastic Olympus OM body cap, cut a reasonably close hole into the body cap, and thread the metal lens,carefully, into the hole.

Did Olympus make a reversal ring in the right thread? I know the original Nikon 40.5 mm to F reversal rings are hard to find. (For El Nikkors)
