Sorry must of had a bout of dyslexia and got my 6's and 9's mixed up....ooops.Hi, Paul!!
Yes, I also prefer GG view cameras but 9x12 sheets are nearly as "big" as 4x5 and the cameras are much more smallerI can carry the 9x12 camera and a medium format one in a just single medium bag.
Anyway ... hehehe, I'm still interested in the MF 6x12 camera, you know
Regards

I have a few boxes of 9 x 12 film and bought some 4x5 plate holders with inserts for film and just tape the sheet film onto the inserts and then put them into the film holder and use a 4x5 camera, if that makes sense. Helps that its ilford ortho plus.
A 9x12 camera and holder would be a lot easier. 9x12 would be a good fit for a Polaroid land camera Hmmm....
Sorry for my confusion.
Patent Etui with 135mm f4.5 Tessar far right, Pacemaker Crown Graphic far left , ZI 520 bottom. A huge size & weight difference in cameras but very similr film sizes 9x12 is just a bit narrower than 5x4.
My 9x12 Patent Etui alongside a 9x12 Rodenstock (made by Welta. I'd like to use the Patent Etui but my wife insists it stays on display in our apartment in Turkey. Possible a downside to the Patent Etu's is their low weight/mass makes them harder to use hand held, weight greatly aids stability. I do shoot hand held with a Super Graphic and have used the Rodentock a bit.

Damn that was going to be my next question. If the film holder was 4" wide it would slide straight into the land camera. At 108 mm a little butchering, but at the normal 4x5 width a lot of butchering.Modern 9x12 DDS film holders are quite easy to find, and same outside dimensions as 5x4, I have a few now the last pair were £7 but no dark-slides but I have spares anyway.
