I'm looking for a normal lens for my 8x10 Bellatrix. I purchased it with a Copal 3 board so that's what I'm seeking out. I will be shooting all types of modern film, including reversal so a good shutter is a must.

I'd be interested in lenses like:
Fujinon 300mm 5.6 W or L

Schneider 300/500 Convertible.

Caltar options...

Something I don't know about?!

Let me know!

If you are the hyking type you will be advised to get a lighter lens, like a Nikon 300 M, and get a board.
The #3's are heavy.

Hello
I saw the following from one of your posts
I'm looking for a normal lens for my 8x10 Bellatrix.
And I was wondering if you can give a bit of a review about this camera
I have looked online and did not find anything.
Would this camera be worthwhile to use to gets ones feet wet with 8x10

Thank you

I have never owned that camera or written that quote.
I got into 8x10 with the Intrepid, the old model.
The new one is much better.
It is the cheapest camera to get into that format, it weighs nothing and has enough movements to satisfy the usual stuff we idiots do with these cameras.
Check them out; Just go to their site:google Intrepid cameras.
If you need more info let me know.
