Looking for a solid, lightweight, 8x10 field camera. Only interested in a Chamonix, Canham, Shen Hao. Thank you in advance. This for my dear friend Matt. he's an experienced view camera user and his wish is to have an 8x10 field camera to use even/especially now with his injury. It may seem counter intuitive to be now getting an 8x10, but this is what he wants and I'm fully confident he'll be able to get much satisfaction from using it. Because of his circumstances though we are trying to keep the weight down while having the camera retain it's rigidity. I've tried or owned them all at this point, which is why I'm so specific in naming the brands we are interested. They've been the best compromise between weight, rigidity, and value. So please keep this all in mind. Many people have offered cameras that although are nice are not quite what we're looking for. Thank you in advance. Here's a link to his GOFUNDME page as well:
