I’m looking for a good user 50mm Leica thread mount lens at a fair price. Prefer clean optics and compact / lightweight. Must have proper front lens cap.

I have a Sumciron, collapsible version. Has some scratches on the front, and some kind of number (not an SSN), etched into the mount part of the barrel. Neither of the above has mattered to me but I usually reach for my Summitar (for no good reason except nostalgia. the two shoot very similarly).

I'd be looking for $225 for it.

I have a really nice Canon 50 (f2 I believe) with proper front cap. $125 for that one.

I also have a coated red dial Elmar f3.5, and a coated Summar in okay shape.

If you're looking for a 35, I have a Summaron, with both caps, and bakelite case.

OP, are you still looking for a 50mm LTM lens?

Yes and no. I still haven't found one but, my truck blew a head gasket so, I may be looking to sell the Leica instead.

Or you could sell the truck and keep the Leica. I mean, a man has to have his priorities! Lol.

Good idea! Yes, I like it.
The Leica is far more reliable and easier to store when not in use.

anybody want a slightly used Ford?
