I'm preparing for my annual winter trip to 4 corners and I need more holders than I already have. That is 4x5 holders.
I'm looking for "mint condition" holders, brand Toyo, Fidelity Elite.
I'm surprised. They sell for about $75 or so, but hold 6 sheets in individual septums and allow you to shoot and change film with a simple pull-push action. The downside is they make the zone system harder because it is darn near impossible to keep track of individual septums in the stack. They were a favorite of news photographers.
For some reason, I had never looked into those multiple-sheets holders. I will. It is true that I use the zone system and that i would make things a bit harder, but I guess one could dedicate one holder like this to N-1 development (for example), which is the dev I use most of the time
Thanks for the advice and the answers ya'll. I'm still interested in regular holders for now.
