Want to Buy WTB: 35mm SLR, '60s- 80's + lens

I have a young co-worker who is interested in film photography, particularly using a silver (Vintage- his word!) SLR. I want to gift him one. He was looking at a Canon AE1 on Offer Up for $200 and I suggested I could probably find something for a great deal less. I would like to pay around $50 to $100 for a fully functional chrome (no plastic fantastic please) 35mm SLR with at least a 50mm lens. Pentax, Canon, Nikon, Olympus, what have you. I have quite a few myself (Pentax, Olympus) but I don't want to give any of them up!

While in the mid of the pandemic it's not a good idea to go to estate sales but there you can find your 35mm SLR. I bought the Canon AE-1 with the 50mm f/1.8 lens for $15.
