Hey everyone.

I recently picked up an Omega DII that came with the condenser for enlarging 4x5 negatives, but I am also looking for the correct one to enlarge 35mm. If anyone has one they're willing to sell, please let me know! I always prefer to buy through fellow APUG members before looking elsewhere.

Thanks,
Austin

I'm looking specifically for the condenser lens that goes under the lamp portion of the enlarger. I have included pictures as reference:

I don't want to discourage you in your search, but the main advantage of the 35mm condenser is to give you markedly shorter exposure times. This is most needed in a high volume, production environment, and is particularly useful with colour printing.
It can also be useful if you do really large enlargements - think 20x24 and larger - from 35mm or smaller films.
You may find, however, that for more typical work that the exposure times you end up with will be too short for most people.

That's not discouraging at all! If I can use the condenser that was included for 4x5 use with longer exposure times that is fine with me. I don't have a 50mm lens yet so I haven't had a chance to try.

Thanks!
Austin
