I'm looking for a spanner wrench that'll open to to 3 inches. My location is set to Providence, but I'm currently in NJ. I can meet up in NYC if needed.

Edit: To clarify, I'm looking for a cheap one. The one that I have right now won't fit where I need it to.

As in a lens spanner for retaining rings? Not so cheap, but local to you in Providence, the SKGrimes spanner opens that wide without modification, and the design is such that it could be made to open as wide as you want by using a longer crossbar.

I am with David, the spanner wrench from SKGrimes is one of the best.

Found one. The SKGrimes one had tips that were too wide, and I didn't want to file down one that expensive.
