wrist strap on Pentax Digital Spotmeter

I was just attempting to adjust the wrist strap on my Pentax digital spotmeter and I seem to have unravelled the thing out of the metal piece that holds the two ends of the strap together. This is a really strange clasp and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it back together.

Does anyone by any chance have a picture they could post of theirs?
