It is summer and my mind is turning to rangefinder shooting.

I have seen a few Canon 7’s with wrinkled shutters. Assuming the shutter still fires is this any thing to worry about, or is it a camera failure ready to happen?

Thanks

One of mine is really badly damaged but it still works ok. It looks like the rule is dont worry until it stops, but I'd not touch it again...

Wrinkled shutters are the norm for Canon 7. I have one. The wrinkled shutter by itself has no impact on the operation of the shutter.

Will add to the mix- Wrinkled shutters on a Canon will not cause any harm. My Canon 7 and VI-T work flawlessly. So does the Canon P, even though its curtain is not wrinkled.
