I am looking for info on the equivalent to Kodak written filters #25 deep red, #58 deep green and #47b deep bleu on a Super Chromega colour enlarger. I want to make colour separations from slide film onto tri-x film 8 x 10, to use for gum printing.

Thanks Mario

Since the wratten filters listed have a different spectral cutoff than possible with the CC filters, you are going to be doing a 'loose approximation' only.

On the color head I would try maximum Magenta + maximum Yellow for the RED
maximum Yellow + maximum Cyan for the green and
maximum Cyan + maximum Magenta for the Blue.

Thanks- will give it a try... seems soooo obvious, should have tried that long time ago.

You cannot duplicate a wratten filter with any build in enlarger filter. I have tried and it is far from satisfactory in making traditional separations such as for dye transfer. The colors are not saturated or pure enough and therefore the color contamination is too high.

It might be useful in some applications though, and that depends.
