OK -- what did we all do?

I braved the clouds and drizzle with the SQ-Hole 2.1 and ran through a roll of ACROS 100.

I didn't get time to make a pinhole.. as I say every year.. there is always next year. (Btw, I am also a Red Sox fan, so this is a regular phrase in my vocabulary.) The one image you have posted here is awesome. I look forward to seeing more.

Well, we had some big storms blow through Saturday and I didn't think the weather would cooperate Sunday, but it did. The clouds were flying by pretty fast and I decided to take a chance with them.

I used my converted AGFA B-2 Speedex with Kodak Verichrome Pan for about a 4 second exposure and developed it for 12 minutes in Microdol-X. Not too bad for homemade pinhole. Eventually I'll either try to make a better pinhole for the camera or buy one premade.

8x10 box camera, f/385, preflashed grade 2 paper negatives. Drove out to the Ojito Wilderness in New Mexico for WPPD. Exposures 15-20 seconds.

I shot 40 pinhole Polaroid portraits at Rayko Photography Center's pinhole day. The setup was an old CRT polaroid camera mounted with a press camera shutter and a 4mm laser-cut pinhole. Lighting was a florescent softbox, film was Fuji Instant 3000B, exposure times were around 5 seconds. I wish I had some to scan and post, but the subjects all took their portraits with them.

My E6 Provia 100F/ 6x6 (12) ex-Zero Image multiformat goes in for D&P tomorrow (it's a public holiday today, Monday, in Australia). Atmospheric pics of pink-hued granite and towering cumulunimbus in sunset light, plus a moon — albeit likely to be a very tiny moon! Will get some el cheapo scans done when back; got to post them to various sites... Other B&W pinhole pix (though not from WPPD) can be seen on my flickr page http://flickr.com/silent-street .

SNIP.

Christ, you have set the bar pretty high, hope there come out.....:D

I was at a small local airport and did some photographs of a glider.

The challenge for me was not only to expose the film at that day, but also to develop it and do a kallitype image.

I got mine up! Here

This year I used my gakken pinhole camera. Pretty fancy for me, I usually just use a popcorn can.

Aha! Indeed I see some good stuff has happened. As it happens, I was cruising the WPPD gallery earlier and that one of the tulips really snagged my attention, an unusual aspect ratio and a very nice color rendering. Didn't realize it was from an APUGer. I see they are up to 1777 photos already -- could be a big year. As someone with a bonsai interest, I'm attracted to that one from Poisson du Jour also.

It's odd, those galleries have been this way forever, but that "Participants (xxxx)" number is apparently the start of the last block of files loaded and not the last photo; so the number of photos up always exceeds that.

This was my sixth year and only two of the years have been free of rain or serious threat of rain -- seems unusual, but I guess one must shrug the shoulders and say "April showers bring May flowers."

Really nice, Ruediger, is the web color true and if so how did you tone this??..Evan Clarke

I have a shutter mounted pinhole which I can mount on any of my cameras but it rained and blew constantly...Evan Clarke

At least at my monitor the color matches pretty well the color of the print. What I did is that I hair dried instead of air dried it (I wanted everything to happen on WPPD). That got a bit cooler tone. But I do not work at a calibrated monitor, all I did is to scan it with my flatbed scanner and then adjust the contrast of the scan so that it matches the print. I did nothing with the colors.

On World Pinhole Photography Day, it rained all day. So, I was forced to find a subject indoors to photograph. Here it is, nothing really interesting, but what was available. I submitted this image and I am waiting for their review.

The interesting thing about this image, is that it took 9 HOURS to expose! A problem with reciprocity of the Tri-X 320 film I was using.

Wow, 9 hours! Putting the Day in Pinhole day for sure. Really nice, great sense of light. I think my house shakes too much for that to work for me.

Four of us pinholers met up in central Minneapolis last Sunday for some food and fun! It was a great time, and I can't wait to process my film.

I dedicated my image to the 10th anniversary of WWPD.

Shot on Agfa Litex using a Linhof with a Skink pinhole pancake. Exposure one hour...

Here is what's happening. As photos are received, they are automatically given a unique identifier, starting with 1. All submissions are reviewed by the coordinating team before they hit the gallery, and many images are rejected for various reasons, mostly that people try to get around the one-photo-per-person-per-year rule. If one person submits five photos, only the first one makes it into the gallery. "Participants(xxxx)" is the number of accepted entries; the unique identifier for the last photo in the gallery will be much larger.
