I can find reviews of Coffer's book and DVDs but can't find reviews of Jacobson's Chemical Pictures and online video series.
Has anyone seen and or used the book and videos? IMO both coffer and Jacobson are equally qualified so it is a matter of how user friendly the books and videos would be.
I wrote a book on the basics of wet plate collodion photography back in 1995. Since then it's been updated twice. It's not fancy...but most people consider it well written and very helpful. My wife and I also published The Collodion Journal from 1995-2001. We continue to teach group workshops and tutorials here in the US and all over the world. No videos though.
I had no idea, thanks. I'll put you on the list Mark. Unfortunately, due to some dyslexia I need visual to back up the book (weird for a guy with a masters degree in reading education, huh?). A workshop is not doable because of a full time job as well as managing the family business.
