Did you buy it? If not . . . Well, I already have an F3, but another one couldn't hurt.

no kidding in the past month i picked up a jobo cpp2+ for $300 and a cool scan 4000 with slide feeder for $350

probably hot as a pepper.
the lenses are worth cover 5-6 hun alone.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that. People are hurting all over,if you notice the background, no furniture...

Craigslist is the king of crazy pricing--50% of everything listed seems to be wildly high or low. I've found some great deals from people who bought their gear years ago and basically want someone to haul it away to get rid of the clutter. Sometimes the need to discard is just as strong as the initial need to accumulate.

already over 4/gal here in Conn.

FYI, before too many people get in touch, he accepted a $150 offer for it. I'm impressed that it went for more than his asking price to be honest.

I'm still depressed that I missed a Jobo (with 4x5 and 8x10 tanks, along with 6 more basic ones), a D2 and 45MX for $300 a few weeks ago. I didn't need either enlarger but the Jobo would have been nice. That offer went quickly too.

Edit: fyi, I mentioned apug.org to the craigslist poster. They may be swinging by to visit at some point as it sounds like this site may be of interest.

I am the now woebegone craigslist poster who sold his nikon f3 for a mere $150. No it was not stolen, and i have furniture......i'm moving, hence the firesale. It was my father's camera for years until the shutter stopped working. I was a full on darkroom nerd in high school so I paid to get it fixed. It had all the bells and whistles I could want. A true professionals camera....but I hated that thing. Its been sitting in my camera bag for 6 years now. Not user friendly in my opinion..so I've stuck with my first camera all these years. Pentax K1000. I ride an airhead bmw motorcycle and as they say "airheads, simple by choice"
The guy who bought it was actually buying it for his father to replace one he had lost years ago.
Many thanks to Brian for turning me onto this forum.

$200 (plus $50 in gas, ugh) for a Saunders 4550xl and other darkroom stuff a few days ago. Never been used. It had been up for over a week as well and I was the only one who called. That is not a good sign.

I am not a big Craigslist user, but I have stumbled across things by chance sometimes. I have mostly used craigslist to get rid of stuff for free.

Hey benz, welcome to the site. Stick around and have some fun. I have my mom and dad's K1000 they used before switching to the 1's and 0's.

Moving was my second thought, just didn't post it. I sell on craiglist too I hear the "stolen " thing too often, it simply is not true.
I'm a fan of R series too.
