Would appreciate any help identifying these lens cells (perhaps around 35-40 mm)!

I recently bought some lens cells, which the seller suspected to be around 35-40 mm in focal length. He wasn't sure which lens they came from originally, so he mentionede a couple of possible series/designs like Super Angulon or enlarging/industrial lenses like Rodagon, Componon. I'm quite familiar with enlarging/repro and industrial lenses, but have never seen any cells which look like that because most of the lenses I have are in some kind of mounting body. This one could have been made for a shutter (the seller suspected Copal-0) but I haven't been able to test that yet. They don't have any inscriptions on them, but there are some numbers on the rear. I'm fairly sure they aren't anything special but I would still like the know what they are, so I can try to put them to use.

Does anyone here have an idea which lens they might be from or who the manufacturer might be? I would really appreciate any input.

To me, they look like industrial application lens components. Could be bar code reader optics, counting sensor optics, any number of applications. I don't see them as enlarger lenses since there is not a marked focal length. They do look multi-coated.

Not that it's any help, but they look like enlarger lenses

Thank you both!

Yeah, I think some sort of industrial application is the most likely. If they are from an enlarging lens they must be from a cheap one, given the plastic material they are made from. I also got to confirm that they fit into a Copal-0 shutter and found out that the focal length seems to be somewhere around 45 or 50 mm. It's possible to reach infinity but erformance doesn't seem to be very good - neither at distance (only the center seems okay), nor close up, so likely not a very interesting lens. Thanks anyway - it's always good to try.

I guess that's subjective; for pictorial purposes I can imagine the imperfections could be worthwhile.

Will you be publishing some tests like you did for several other lenses?

PS: yes, they do look like an industrial application optic. Could be anything really. Maybe from some kind of barcode scanner application etc.
