Hopefully this is not hijacking the thread, since it is a similar question, but I am having difficulty finding a flat head screwdriver that is sharp enough for older cameras such as the Ikontas. I bought the tiniest one I could find on Amazon, but it just would barely fit into the slot... it is almost like you need a razor sharp flat-head screwdriver. Does anyone have any recommendations for this?
The question is put in a generic way, not as an inquiry on availability.Umm, errr... in this thread the advice was for a member in “Eastern MA”, which is in the United States not Germany.

Also... being member of an ISO committee and manufacturing to ISO specifications are two totally different things.
my, my, you corrected me again... let me re-state, hopefully to your satisfaction this time: Umm, errr... in this thread the generic enquiry was by a member in “Eastern MA”, which is in the United States not Germany. LOL
...home one of your blades thinner using a whetstone.
My advice: make them yourself.

Now I am all upset. Is my 1970 Victorinox Swiss Army knife obsolete?
Wow... thanks. Looking forward to reading it. One of my favorite books was Petroski’s “The Pencil”. More people should learn about the history and engineering behind commonplace objects that often get taken for granted.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Good_Turn_(book)
Since the discussion is about screwdrivers give the above mentioned book a read.
Aj
That little flathead at the tip of the can/bottle opener is still the best.
