Has anyone sent anything yet. I received the list of names a while ago and wondered if people have sent anything yet. Just wondering.....

I seem to be one of the first - and only senders - so I waiting this round until I get something first.... Nothing so far.

Regards, Art.

Sorry, I dozed off there for a minute and when I woke up I had to Google "bump." I seriously had no idea what that meant.

Anyway, yours is the only print I've seen. Thank you. It's cool. Was that with 35mm film?

My prints are made, and, if all goes well, they'll be in the mail tomorrow.

Oh, my favorite bit is when he squeaks the clarinet and looks at the camera and says cheerfully, "Never had one lesson." Whenever any member of my band ( www.halfmoonjugband.com plug, plug ) makes a an embarassing mistake we'll say that and laugh... and then chug a beer. Rules are rules.

Back from vacation and fired up to print!
Looking at the negatives from WTC day in nyc and there's one or two I'm excited to try out

So far, I have received two prints from this exchange.

Peter sent a very neat 'abstract' taken with a modified Holga of reflections. The mod extended the length of the image to make a nice 4.5" x 8" panoramic image. This is a great print.

Bastiaan sent a print of a sheep peering over a fence at the camera, also taken with a Holga. This image is particularly serendipidous as on Saturday, I attended a lecture by Alec Soth at Photo LA 2007, where sheep were prominent in his artistic vision at one point.

Regards, Art.

Art, you have fared better than I, as I have received exactly none. Perhaps the other group has done better?
It's a little bit of a disappointing turnout for the APUG community. I know that in the past, you have been very diligent about reminding people to fulfill the print exchange commitments they have made. I'm a little saddened to learn that that's what was keeping these things going, rather than the personal responsibility of the individuals involved. I'm not willing to invest the time in hounding people to follow though on what they agreed to do, so I don't think I will try to arrange another one of these in the future.

Art, it is a goat and not a sheep – not to spoil your serendipitous story!

Peter, I sent all my photos for Group A some time ago but didn’t get any reply, except Art’s above. I hope everyone received theirs – so anyone who hasn’t yet had theirs, please let me know. I would really regret it if this terrific exchange were to end.

I had to do without an enlarger for a month or so, so couldn't get my prints out. The horror is finally over and I located a nice omega - so hopefully will be able to print this weekend and send it out on Monday.

Apologies for the delay.

Bastiaan-
I got yours last week. I think it's one of the best I've gotten from any exchange. Thanks.

Art-
FWIW, the print I sent out does not include reflections. That was all done in-camera, pointing at the 'real world'. I can send out a link on the modification I made if anyone is interested. Just PM Me.

What a nice surprise, to find 2 beautiful B&W (H)olga prints on my doormat. Thanks a lot Troy! They are really beautiful.

I have to apologize to the other people on my list for my tardiness; but a promise is a promise and I will not forget to send you my print.

Until next, kind regards from Holland!

Well, no one can accuse me of being a deadbeat!

I just sent out the last two prints to PhotoPete and Bastiaan! I also added an extra print that I took on World Pinhole Photography Day as a pathetic penance for being almost a year late on this exchange. My sincere apologies.

I hope you guys like these two images. They are very different taken on two very different cameras.

Regards, Art.
