A COVID infection, which is currently going well for me thanks to the vaccination, is putting me in a strange state.

On the one hand, I should sleep and rest, but on the other hand, there are a lot of repair related thoughts running through my head.

What's interesting is that you can also practice repairing things in your mind. A good workout before falling asleep, by the way. At least every now and then.

In my mind I'm already working on the Leica R3 MOT of @miha (which I should have done long ago), going through the Minolta X cameras I want to check and I find myself circling around Canon A and wondering what's waiting for me there.

Since I'm too tired to work at the table and can't upload my entire photo archive here 😉 I just bought this book for Kindle on the iPhone. Repetition of analog electronics with calculations, all with questions and answers:

Complete Electronics Self-Teaching Guide with Projects https://a.co/d/80zLhvChttps://amzn.eu/d/1KiVrjp

I'll see if I can entertain myself, it's time to do it all over again anyway.

And watching TV during the day just makes you tired, and the day is long when you're diseased.

What do you do when you are sick, but not so sick that you can no longer think rationally?

Do you read, do you still repair something, do you rest or something else?

Get well soon!
Being sick sucks. Fortunately, it doesn't happen to me too often, but when it does, I generally don't get much further than maybe making a single print on a day (something quick & easy) and watching some youtube or something...

I caught COVID this August while on a business trip. I was so tired I stayed in bed for 3 days straight. It was the third day only that I was able to watch some movies. I would advise you to have a good rest.

Get well soon. We have been keeping up with the latest approved COVID vaccines/boosters and have so far completely avoided it.

I hope you get well soon!

My first and hopefully last bout of Covid was about 3 months ago and sapped my energy completely, for 3 days I just watched the birds out the window and idly surfed the internet looking at pictures, reading was too much effort. I hardly moved, to the extent my automatic watch stopped as I wasn’t moving enough to wind it!

Take care and look after yourself.

Sorry to hear that you are sick. Take it easy, relax and heal. I hope that it passes quickly for you.

Thank you for the good wishes!

It's not threatening, just very tedious and annoying. I'm pouring us an herbal tea for sore throats, 3:53 am … 🤪

It will be a while before I can work at the table, tackle new projects, I'm still pretty exhausted 😕

Since I can't look at the ceiling all day, I'm translating and posting here the last reports I've already written. With the iPhone you can also do this in bed.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas, much success for your projects and may the world see better times again! 🎄

Get well soon! I didn't realize that covid could be so miserable even after immunization, so I guess I'll keep an N95 mask handy. Years ago, I was too sick to get out of bed, but too restless to sleep, so I spent the day using Playstation.

Stay on the herbal tea. The fragrance will stimulate your senses, and keep you hydrated! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

Thanks!

I could watch YouTube repair videos on Apple TV, but sleeping would be better 😉
