So I have 3 tanks and I want to get the most film done in minimal time. I did this the other day but I want to make sure there isn't adverse effect of the steps that I took, which I explain briefly. So I have a 2 litter kit for c41 two 2 35 mm tanks and 1 35mm tank. So 5 rolls per section.
What I did is pre wash
Then on my Timer I added 2 minutes to the dev time but not ti dev but to keep track of the 2nd and 3rd tank. I use a 3:30 min dev time. So I start the first tank. Wait a min and then fill the second tank and same for the thrird. Now this part is where I have a question. I drain the first tank and them leave it empty until all the tanks have finished, after I do a similar process for the blix for 6:30 mins. Is it bad to leave the film sitting there for a min or two and not going directly to the blix or should I get three separate timers and just do that? To in turn have them running with out breaks
Thanks

I would never use that method. I would use each tank to develop to completion before starting the next tank. You are just asking for problems.

A much better approach would be to use the Jobo 1500 system:

Start with a 1x35mm or 2x35mm tank and add the 3x35mm section.
So you can process up to 5 films the same time, or even more... Instead of inverting such stack, you can roll it on a table.
