Good to get back out!
but I was also hiking through groves of old-growth rhododendrons in full bloom. Hard to beat.
Nice gallery of your nature hike, but most of the prints look like they're 4x5 contacts. I'm sure somebody could loan you an enlarger.
I provide magnifying glasses instead...
I'm finding that photography itself is therapeutic. How about everyone just getting well so that they can get back to photography?
Getting old isn't fun. Glad everyone is well enough.
My neighbors and I managed to get lucky and avoid COVID by taking almost hospital like precautions. The easiest one, and the one that was most enjoyable, was always meeting up outside in the yard and keeping a respectable distance apart. I'm 71, have the usual health issues that old folks have, and can't be taking any chances. It wasn't fun, but so far so good.
The important thing for all of us to remember is that COVID hasn't gone anywhere. It's still everywhere, and only being kept at bay through vaccinations and booster shots. As it and other viruses continue to change and mutate, I still keep to meeting outside if possible for all manner of things. It only takes one little slip up to remove me from the scene.
