Interesting. The English text talks about a 200/4 lens in wooden barrel with Waterhouse stops that covers 5x7 to 8x10, says "super sharp on the central part and soft focus around."

This contradicts the Italian data sheet, which describes, among others, a 200/3 lens that covers 11x14 to 13x18. These are metric sizes, 13x18 is 5x7 in inches.

The data sheet claims the lenses (200/3, not 200/4, to 350/5) are versatile sharp anastigmats, extremely refined and intended for general use, perfectly corrected for spherical and chromatic aberrations and astigmatism, with perfectly corrected field curvature and absolutely free of coma and distortion. ... Its principal advantage over other lenses is that its elements are not cemented, therefore transmission losses typical of more complex lenses are eliminated. [my translation]

What a beautiful example of marketing bilge!

Darryl, buy one, if only to have braggin' rights, and give us a report.
