So, my favourite local camera store (Photo Central in Winnipeg, MB) has jumped on the "lomography" bandwagon, and sells Holgas and other toy cameras. As part of this, they're now selling expired film (B&W, C-41, E-6 in 35mm and 120 formats), and have a rotating selection of this in their lomography display.
I was in today for something else, and lo and behold they had 3 rolls of 120 Tech Pan, and 1 of 35mm TP, for $3/roll each, so I grabbed them. Now, it hasn't been cold-stored, but I'm still excited - I've heard a lot about this film, but I'm unwilling to pay the premium it seems to fetch these days.
Anyway, just thought others can share in my excitement, and also give a shameless plug for Photo Central - still stocking film, chems, and paper, and a generally knowledgable staff about things analog. Pay them a visit if you're in or around Winnipeg, and tell them Glenn sent you (not that it gets you or me anything
).
