"Turning Silver"
100 juried images will be showcased

Entries can be any type of black & white image, created in your personal darkroom, professional lab or through a digital printer that is black & white based, single weight, glossy, matte, including hand painted and toned images, Polaroid, black & white C-41, silver gelatin prints, platinum prints and alternative prints. We encourage submission of "archival" types of materials, numbered limited editions, artists proofs, and series of images, color transferred to b/w, digital manipulation, with varying styles and techniques, that incorporate traditional and non traditional printing processes The photographic entries will be juried by a panel of professionals including gallery owners, art directors, editors and curators. ALL submission will be held in the archive.

The selection of one hundred (100) images will also be showcased on www.WomenInPhotography.org and will remain part of our 25th Anniversary online archive as well as included in the Women In Photography International Archive.

Submission Dates & Deadlines:

Deadline for ALL Submissions: Monday, May 1, 2006
(sending from Europe or other countries, we suggest you send your work by April 15 if you are sending slides, prints or a CD).
Notification by e-mail of Juror Selection: Thursday, June 15, 2006
Winning Print Submission Deadline: Post marked Tuesday, August 1, 2006
25th Anniversary Gallery Showcase Online: Friday, September 1, 2006

Submit: non-returnable prints, slides/transparencies, CD's, or online JPEG's.

Prizes include: Each winner will receive a limited edition leather bound book produced by Kodak plus prizes from our prize pool.

Are there any women apuggers who are members? $75 membership and entry fees are a bit much for me, but I'd consider it if I had some APUG "references".
